Andrew has supported and managed information and analysis teams in health and social care for 13 years, with a particular focus on prevention and the wider public health perspective. Andrew leads on analytical projects which provide intelligence-based decision support to health and care economies planning, initiating or evaluating change programmes.
Andrew has recently managed the delivery of insight packs for STPs across England to better understand the interaction between users of specialist mental health services and acute health care services. Continuing the interest in Mental Health care, Andrew also led on the implementation of a markov model to estimate the future disease burden of Dementia in West Midland CCGs, thus the need for commissioning plans around the Dementia pathway. More generally, Andrew is developing knowledge and capacity for specialist spatial analysis and travel and access modelling to support service re-design and rationalisation programmes.
