Elaine has over 10 years’ experience of working in the NHS for different NHS Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Prior to this she worked in the private sector in publishing and the legal profession.
Her key interests are improvement, sustainability, transformation, quality, strategy and innovation, to improve clinical outcomes, delivery and better patient experiences. She recently worked for the Improvement Unit, MLCSU, on the NHS England North West Health & Justice Project where its objectives were to improve compliance and reduce health inequalities.
Whilst working on this piece of work she was asked to lead on a programme by a Senior Commissioner at North West Health & Justice which was called Run for Your Life. This is an intensive fitness programme being piloted at prisons in the North West region to improve the fitness and mental health of male prisoners. Elaine developed processes for the programme owner to ensure the data and evidence was captured to demonstrate the value and success of the programme.
Elaine was the central point of contact and vital in running the PMO for a few workstreams, managing relationships from HMPPS, NHSE and health care providers
