• Danielle helps to lead on quantitative evaluation projects. This work involves evaluating national and local programmes using a range of analytical methods (e.g. quasi-experimental methods) to aid data driven decision-making.

  • Danielle has a background in psychology. She has an MSc in Psychological Research Methods and a PhD in Psychology, which both focused on mental health research (i.e. post-traumatic stress disorder) and utilised experimental methods and quantitative analysis. Prior to joining The Strategy Unit, Danielle worked in the NHS as a Research Fellow specialising in mood disorders research, whereby she led on several quantitative data analysis projects. This included projects that analysed large amounts of de-identified patient data (i.e. CRIS; Clinical Record Interactive Search system) to examine the outcomes, clinical characteristics and treatment journeys of patients diagnosed with depression and bipolar disorder. Danielle has also gained experienced in writing manuscripts and grant applications and been successful with securing funding for projects. From working in both clinical and research roles within different mental healthcare settings, Danielle has also gained experience in communicating complex research/analysis to a wide range of audiences.
