Bethany is a skilled mixed methods researcher, bringing together qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate health and care programmes. She is an experienced project manager in the NHS, and is proficient in the communication of sensitive and complex findings that drive change and support improvement. Bethany is interested in addressing health inequalities and she seeks work that leads to more just outcomes.

Recent projects at the Strategy Unit include:
- Managing and delivering a qualitative evaluation of a pilot of Combined Health Checks for people with Learning Disability, Severe Mental Illness, and/or autism
- Managing several community pharmacy evaluations, including the Community Pharmacy Cancer Referrals pilot and the New Medicines Service
- Managing a mixed methods evaluation of NHSE’s Detect, Protect, Perfect programme for improving the detection and management of atrial fibrillation
- Conducting research with health professionals to explore the ethnic and socio-economic disparities in people discharged from hospital with a non-specific diagnosis
- Producing a literature summary for the New Hospital Programme on ways of moving medicines
- Supporting the Neighourhood Health Implementation programme with logic model review and planning for the Neighbourhood Index.
