Simon’s work focuses on improving strategic decision-making in health and care systems. He specialises in helping leaders develop strategies for navigating complexity. Simon provides advice and coaching in generating and articulating ideas, in influencing amidst uncertainty, and in increasing the capabilities of individuals and teams. He is also a skilled, enthusiastic and clear communicator.

Simon’s experience spans clinical medicine, academia, NHS commissioning and management consultancy. He is the programme director for the Midlands Decision Support Network – which provides regional support to improve decision-making in Integrated Care Systems. This includes an extensive education and development programme, running professional networks and facilitating knowledge exchange.
Simon has also led projects on:
