  • Katie is an experienced qualitative researcher passionate about using qualitative research to capture the views and experiences of patients, carers and healthcare professionals to improve services and outcomes. Her research interests include health inequalities and healthcare technology.

  • Katie completed her undergraduate study in Sociology from the University of Bath. Following the completion of her undergraduate degree, she pursued a Master’s in Sociology from the University of Bristol where she focused her research on the intersections of gender and digital culture.

    Katie has gained experience as a qualitative researcher at the Strategy Unit on a number of evaluations. More recently, she was part of the team who delivered the evaluation of the Virtual Wards service, examining patient and unpaid carer experience of the service, to support the future development of the programme.
