Sheila is a qualitative evaluator with a particular interest in health and healthcare inequalities. Through her qualitative evaluation and analysis Sheila identifies themes and patterns in qualitative data to better understand processes, what is working well, and what could be improved.

Sheila has extensive research and evaluation experience in both the NHS and academic contexts, working with both quantitative and qualitative data, but specialising more in qualitative research and evaluation in recent years.
Recent projects at the Strategy Unit include:
- An evaluation of the implementation of the Core20PLUS5 approach to addressing healthcare inequalities
- An evaluation of interventions aimed at improving adherence and engagement with NHS Talking Therapies
- An evaluation of a funding programme for primary care aimed at addressing inequalities.
