We heard discussions from experts from the NHS, NICE and academia (Andi Orlowski, Gwyn Bevan, Deborah O’Callaghan, Peter Spilsbury) on the challenge of finding value through efficiency and allocating resources appropriately.
Andi Orlowski, from the Health Economics Unit was joined by this exceptional panel as they discussed different approaches in getting the best value in health and care.
- Andi Orlowski is a health economist and the Director of the Health Economics Unit, an NHS organisation supporting health and care locally, regionally and nationally, providing expertise in economics, population health, analytics and evaluations. With a passion for population health analytics, Andi is excited about addressing health inequalities and the concept of impactibility modelling. He is researching this for his PhD at Imperial College London. Andi was one of our keynote speakers in our opening event at Insight 2020 – “Dangerous analytics…and how local analysts can save you!” @andrzeio @economics_unit
