Abe has over 25 years’ of experience in research and evaluation in medical and applied social science disciplines, in geographically and culturally diverse environments of the UK, USA and Netherlands.
At the Strategy Unit, Abe has been involved in a wide range of evaluations including:
- Leading a national mixed methods evaluation of the Core20PLUS5 approach to inform national programme learning.
- Leading the development of a national Plan to improve ethnicity recording, published by NHS England.
- Managing the national process evaluation of the NHS Vaccine Deployment Programme.
- Managing the National Evaluation of 2-hour Urgent Community Response.
- Leading the impact of the menopause on the NHS workforce
- Conducting an evidence synthesis of Multi-Specialty Community models of integrated care
- Leading a case-study evaluation of High Intensity Use Service
- Leading a qualitative evaluation of a system’s response to COVID-19.
